When a police constable, Nick Bentley, is shot by drug dealers while on foot patrol it seems like a pretty straightforward case. What they learn is that Bentley's fellow constables had recently learned of his sexual orientation and that his partner Griffin is the head of a Christian group of officers that rejects gays.
